This is a fantastic opportunity to join this 60 bed Care Home in Swanton Morley. They are looking for dedicated and warm-hearted Care Assistants to join their team and assist their residents with personal care, promoting their dignity, independence, well-being, and becoming an integral part of their lives.

Key responsibilities:

* Supporting residents with personal care based on their individual needs.

* Record accurately in care plans, records and update accordingly always ensuring confidentiality is maintained.

* Working within a team to ensure the smooth day to day running of the unit

* Promote residents independence and wellbeing and safeguarding their welfare

* Encouraging them to attend group activities, to engage their interests such as reading, writing, arts and crafts, trips out of the home, cinema, dancing, singing, etc.

* Providing residents with comfort, interaction and companionship

* Providing wheelchairs and hoists when necessary, making sure that the residents safety is priority.

As a Care Assistant you will be passionate about providing high quality care and support with residents daily activities. You must have a positive attitude and be warm, friendly, patient and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
