Main contractor company seeking an experienced Site Manager, specialising in timber framing, to manage and successfully deliver multiple residential projects in Cambridge. You will be overseeing a £116M residential project that will run well into 2025, with a pipeline of upcoming projects. A carpentry background is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

* Arrange and manage on-site workforce and subcontractors

* Manage the installation of timber frames on residential new builds

* Resolve any issues or conflict that arise on site through the duration of the project

* Coordinate with other senior site managers on material, plant, and labour

* Liaise with Quantity Surveyors and Estimators on cost matters

* Support Project Managers with on-time, within budget, and high standard delivery of project

* Maintain compliance regarding health and safety records, and attend site safety meetings

Qualifications & Experience

* Qualification in a trade, construction, or site management

* SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS Card required

* Previous Site Management experience for Tier 1 or 2 Main Contractor

* Knowledge and experience in managing timber frame projects

* Proven track record of successful delivery of large-scale residential projects

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Good knowledge of health & safety policies and procedures
