An exciting opportunity has become available for you to join a specialist services provider based in Ferndown, Dorset as an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis, offering a hybrid working pattern and a salary between £23,000 and £28,000 offering a range of additional benefits.

You will be reporting to the Financial Controller and operating within a close-knit finance function. You will have a variety of transactional accounting responsibilities within this busy and fast paced business.
As an Accounts Assistant, your duties will include:
Performing bank reconciliations;
Processing sales ledger and purchase ledger invoices;
Contacting customers for overdue payments;
Dealing with any queries relating to customer’s rates.
The suitable candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:
Will be experienced in carrying out reconciliations;
Exposure to VAT in order to process complex queries;
An understanding of sales ledger and/or purchase ledger processes;
A confident communicator with internal and external parties;
A background in insurance or financial services will be advantageous.
