What does the role involve?

EMBS Engineering is in partnership with a reputable engineering company located in Nottinghamshire that is a globally recognised, market-leading precision engineering/manufacturing business that supports world-renowned industry leaders. 

Due to our client's increased workload, they are looking to expand their inspection department and are therefore looking for a Quality Inspector to join their growing team and support with new and exciting projects.

Located at their site in Nottingham, you will be working alongside talented engineers on modern, up to date machinery, testing yourself against challenging intricate parts and materials. As a Quality Inspector you will be able to perform detailed inspection of precision components in line with customer and industry specifications, ensuring component conformity. You will raise NCR reports for non conforming parts as well as update FAIR reports as required. 

What experience do you need?

Strong quality inspection background - Ideally from an Aerospace background
Ability to perform inspection activities (both visual and dimensional) using manual measuring equipment
Able to use automated such as CMM, Keyence, Hommel etc
Experience of carrying out First off and Final Inspection 
Confidence identifying non-confirming products 
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Knowledge of FAIRs
Strong attention to detail
Good communications skills and the ability to work well within a team
