The Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in their students' educational journey. Working closely with experienced teachers and staff, you will have the opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience, develop your teaching skills, and make a positive impact on young learners.
Responsibilities:
Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons across various subjects.
Assist in the preparation of classroom materials, ensuring a vibrant and interactive learning environment.
Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
Lead small group activities and facilitate discussions to encourage active student participation.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records.
Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment, promoting positive behavior and effective classroom management.
To be considered for this role:
A Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field
Possess an Enhanced DBS Disclosure
Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
Provide professional reference checks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsContract Details:
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, contracted hours are 8.30am -4.00pm. The contract will begin ASAP, aligning with the start of the academic year.
