GSL Education is seeking to appoint a Food Technology Teacher to work at a client Secondary on the outskirts of Hull. This is a full time position from January 2024 until the end of the academic year.

Delivering dynamic and interactive lessons for KS3, KS4 and KS5 that capture students' imaginations and foster their passion for food technology.
Incorporating theoretical aspects of food technology, including food science, nutrition, and hygiene, into your teaching.
Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching materials and schemes of work that align with the national curriculum.
Assessing and providing constructive feedback to students to aid their progress and achievement.Food Technology Teacher Requirements:
A teaching qualification, namely a PGCE or a B.Ed. with QTS in Food Technology or Hospitality/Catering/Food Science.
Have recent experience teaching KS3 and KS4. Experience teaching KS5 is ideal but not essential.
Passionate about teaching Food Technology along with a strong command of the subject
Strong interpersonal skills and classroom behaviour management - although children are generally well behaved in the school.
Are a committed and reflective professional who strives for continued improvement.
Hold an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for a new one with GSL Education.
