Manufacturing Engineer / CADCAM Programmer

Location: Kirkby-in-Ashfield

Shifts: Monday - Friday

Salary: Up to £50,000 D.O.E

Metalis are working with a global aerospace manufacturer who are a market leader in their sector. They are looking to add an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support with programming, process improvement and implementation of CAPEX Projects

The Role:

Generating offline programmes for a range of multi-axis machinery.
Manage the ordering and improvement of tooling.
Manage CAPEX budgets and spend.
Manage F.A.I.R process, first run offs are accurate.
Ensure NPI process is followed.
Ensure H&S is followed.
Ensure Machinists are understanding of drawings and monitor progress.
Issue new drawings and SOPs.
Look for improvements in design and process to create cost efficiencies.Ideal Experience:

2 Years experience programming experience.
Experience using Vericut.
Experience using 5axis Milling & mill-turn machines.
Must understand technical drawings.
A Degree or HND/HNC in an Engineering .The Details:
