An independent charitable organisation is recruiting temporary Engagement Officers to work in the North, South and West Essex areas. Paying up to £12.58 per hour (£24,500 p/a) working full-time 9:00am-17:00pm Monday-Friday.

This role will be based out of the Tiptree, Colchester & Braintree sites when working at the office however the majority of your time will be spent visiting and supporting families across the Essex area meaning travel is an essential part of this role.

Key Duties for this engagement officer include but are not limited to:

Supporting families with children aged 8-19 by phone, video call and in person to build and retain positive relationships and conflict resolution
Arranging and attending meetings that support families with professionals
Building relationships and network with partners and organisations in the area
Prepare, write and present data and case studies to support monitoring
Attending meetings updating on project engagement
Creating and hosting events across Essex to support children and families

Key Skills required to be considered for this role:

Excellent communication (written, verbal and listening) skills with an ability to write reports and papers
Professional experience of engaging in family support with vulnerable families
Charity or health and social care industry experience essential
Previous experience working within a similar support, community, and engagement role (desirable)
An awareness of the current health and social care climate
