My client a well established distribution and storage company based across 3 sites is looking for a Despatch Operative for their Darwen site. The working hours are Monday-Thursday 7:15am-4:30pm, Friday 7:15am-1:30pm.

Main Duties:
- Perform various duties related to stock and materials handling
- Utilize warehouse management system to track inventory and locate items
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes
- Use systems to input and retrieve data
-Pick goods and palletise according to company orders
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate forklift to move materials within the warehouse
- Assist with heavy lifting as needed

Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment preferred
- Familiarity with stock and materials handling procedures
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
- Ability to pick and pack orders with attention to detail
- Valid forklift certification is a bonus but not essential
