Here at Futures, we have been asked to find an Engineering Stores/Admin Manager. This site is undergoing huge development over the next 24 months so looking to grow the Engineering team to accommodate increased production but also a big shift in culture from reactive to proactive maintenance. They are also implementing a new CMMS system so you will be tasked by ensuring all things stores is organised and accurate.

In a nutshell, you would be responsible for the efficient, effective, and financial management of the Engineering Stores department.
Stock control within stores.
Ordering of stock parts and daily maintenance requirements.
Manage the stores budget and try to operate the department as efficiently as possible.
Upkeep of Engineering consumables
Working closely with Engineering Management to establish a constantly evolving spares list.
Ensuring the site has 100% of critical spares at all times.
Working with suppliers to ensure best deals/service for site.
Large food manufacturing business with areas of high care + low care

Supply 2 Major retailers in the UK
High-tech manufacturing environment with the latest equipment available in their field. (All machines supplied by top machinery manufacturers in their field)
Settled engineering team of 12+ with a good mix of electrical and mechanical skills.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Engineering stores management in a manufacturing setting, but the client can be flexible on this for the right person.
General understanding of Engineering parts
Driven candidate who wants to progress into a management role longer term.
