This is an exciting opportunity, in Sheffield, for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join this historic business at a crucial point in their journey of growth.
This is an opportunity to fully develop the role from scratch and be part of the new era of this well-respected business.
The role is paying up to c. £57,000 + bonus (depending on experience).
The role is truly end-to-end, taking responsibility for:
Managing a team covering stock management, purchasing & material, production and demand planning
Lead all negotiations and onboarding of suppliers (direct)
Manage the accurate and timely purchasing of materials - both raw and pre-assembled - inline with realistic material and production planning
Work with all areas of the SLT, giving honest and accurate information that will inevitably increase the productivity of the shop floor as well as customer satisfaction
Responsible for the planning for the site
Scenario plan & calculate accurate lead times, communicating with relevant stakeholders on both ends of the cycle
Understand complex routing through various stages of the factory. Simplify & plan for efficiency
Be an instrumental part of the current project to increase data integrity and the use of accurate commercial data across the Supply Chain
Proven experience of managing all areas of Supply Chain with a particular focus on purchasing as well as material and production planning
Stock and planning data management & analysis will be a large part of this role, so being data proficient is essential
Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential
Team management experience is essential
Strong Excel experience is essential
