RC Fornax are looking for an ADA Software Engineer for a 12 month contract based in Edinburgh or Newcastle, working on the development of complex software for an Aerospace project.

You must have a demonstrated working experience in:
•Developing software solutions, primarily using Ada for all stages of the software lifecycle,
from concept to delivery.
•Investigation and resolution real integration problems on a highly complex system.
•Creating high quality and robust code within a regulated domain e.g. Aerospace.
•Delivering software and supporting technical documents.
•Communication of technical solutions to internal and external stakeholders.

Experience and knowledge in the following areas:
•Full software development lifecycle.
•Configuration management tools.

Not essential but beneficial:
•Developing software in ADA.
•Experience in Aerospace, Defence or any other regulated sector such as medical or
automotive.
•Software development in a real time embedded environment.
•Refactoring software implementation for large legacy systems.
•Understanding of C.
•Knowledge sharing techniques

Due to the nature of this project, the successful candidate shall currently hold UK SC clearance without caveats
