Are you a Spanish or Italian speaking accounts assistant looking for a progressive role?

Think Accountancy and Finance are pleased to be supporting a Global business in Ampthill who have grown quickly over the last 5 years. The team are so busy that they are looking to recruit an additional accounts person to take over the EU Accounts Payable and Receivable and other tasks for the European entities. You will be trained in all the additional areas of the role across European Financial Accounting.

The company do offer hybrid working after training/induction and have amble parking. They are located in the picturesque town of Ampthill so a driver would be ideal for this role due to the location.

The position is an all-round role so will require someone who is happy to be hands on. But equally this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to take the next steps in their career in compliance and month end management accounts.

Role responsibilities: (training will be provided in areas of the role)

EU Accounts Receivable
EU Accounts Payable
EU compliance and VAT returns
Intrastat returns and EC sales reporting
Month end close
Accrual and prepayments
Balance sheet reconciliations
Variance analysis.
Assists in monthly finance pack commentary.
Forecasting cash requirements
Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements
Royalty audits and submission
Assists with annual audit and corporation tax return.
Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Assists in special and administrative projects as necessaryThis opportunity could be a great step for someone who has EU experience in a transactional role but is looking to proress and develop their experience in a growing business. This position will become an EU Accountant role over time.
