Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work with a bright young boy in Year 3 who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Despite not exhibiting challenging behaviour, he requires consistent and committed support to help him navigate the curriculum and smoothly transition between tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Build a strong rapport with the student, fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
Provide consistent support to enable the student to access the curriculum effectively.
Guide the student through transitional periods between tasks, ensuring a seamless learning experience.
Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to implement strategies that enhance the student’s educational journey.
Qualities and Requirements:

Experience working with children with ASD.
Consistency, commitment, and the ability to quickly build a rapport with the student.
Understanding of strategies to support students in accessing the curriculum.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
