Individualized Instruction: Provide tailored, one-on-one tutoring to students with SEN, addressing their unique learning needs and challenges.
Assessment and Planning: Conduct initial assessments to identify each student's strengths and areas for improvement. Develop personalized learning plans to support academic and personal development.
Adaptability: Adjust teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles, ensuring that sessions are engaging and effective.
Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and track students' progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed. Provide feedback to parents/guardians on students' achievements and areas for improvement.
Collaboration: Work closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment for students with SEN.
Qualifications: A relevant degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field. Additional certifications in SEN support are desirable.
Experience: Proven experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role. Familiarity with various SEN conditions and effective teaching strategies is essential.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues. The ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
Patience and Empathy: Demonstrate patience, understanding, and empathy towards students with SEN, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
Flexibility: Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN. Openness to trying new approaches and techniques.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
