Are you an Engineer with purchasing experience looking for an long term position with an impressively innovative Engineering Company?
On offer is the fantastic chance to work for a specialist manufacturer who are in a phase of expansion.
In this role, you'll be assisting the Purchasing Manager in the procurement of goods. This includes tasks such as negotiating pricing with suppliers, liaising with the Engineers /Designers and reading from drawings
This is a great opportunity for an Engineer that really wants to understand and learn the purchasing/procurement side of the business.
This would suit an Engineer with some purchasing experience looking for a supporting role (to the Purchasing Manager) where you can use your engineering knowledge and background to really help grow and devleop the company at a busy time.
*Assisting Purchasing Manager with procurement of goods
*Negotiating pricing with suppliers
*Reading and understanding engineering drawings and liaising with departments (such as Design, Manufacturing etc.)
*Must have an engineering background and be able to read and understand engineering drawings
*Experience dealing with multiple departments
*Purchasing knowledge or background dealing with suppliers
