Job Title: Automotive Test Engineer

Location: Lancashire

Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience 

This is an exciting opportunity for a Test Engineer to join a skilled team in Lancashire, contributing to the development of driveline products for various applications, including Electric Vehicle technology, while gaining valuable skills and experiences in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain job-specific risk assessments.
Ensure adherence to appropriate safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment.
Provide regular updates to customers and ensure timely project delivery.
Deliver accurate test reports within agreed timelines.
Execute tests to professional standards within allocated resources.
Analyse test data and validate results.
Ensure equipment calibration and project documentation are up to date.
Identify and implement improvements in work systems and data handling.
Key Skills/Attributes & Experience:

Degree level education or equivalent experience in relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic).
Interest and passion for driveline test and development, including HV electric machines.
Previous industry experience in driveline testing (desirable) 
Knowledge of mechanical driveline and electric vehicle drive systems (desirable) 
Familiarity with test bed control systems and CAN communications (preferred) 
CAD experience (preferred) 
Instrumentation and data acquisition skills (preferred)
