Job Title: Medical Administrator

Location: Ashford, Private Medical Service

Schedule: 4 days per week on a regular basis

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Administrator to join our private medical service located in Ashford. The Medical Administrator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our clinic, supporting both medical staff and patients alike.

Responsibilities:

1. Patient Coordination: Manage patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and coordination of consultations, tests, and procedures.
2. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to medical staff, including data entry, filing, and managing medical records in compliance with privacy regulations.
3. Billing and Payments: Assist with billing processes, including verifying insurance information, processing payments, and resolving billing inquiries.
4. Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries, providing information, and ensuring clear communication between patients and medical staff.
5. Maintaining Office Supplies: Monitor and replenish office and medical supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
6. Assisting with Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and clinic policies related to patient confidentiality, data protection, and health and safety.
7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with medical professionals and administrative staff to optimize clinic operations and enhance patient experiences.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Previous experience in a medical administration role is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.
2. Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
3. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and medical staff.
4. Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in administrative tasks and patient records.
5. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with basic computer applications and willingness to learn new software programs as needed.
6. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle unexpected situations calmly and efficiently.
7. Empathy: Compassionate and empathetic demeanor when interacting with patients, demonstrating sensitivity to their needs and concerns.
