Hiring an experienced Payroll Officer for a full-time permanent position, for our client based in Goldthorpe, Barnsley, to process weekly payrolls in return for a competitive salary and bonus.
  
You will be working 36.25 hour per week with an early finish on Fridays and half hour unpaid lunchtimes. Hybrid working is an option on 3-day office/2 days working from home basis.
  
With your formal payroll qualification or relevant experience, you will be accurate, IT literate, numerate and have good interpersonal and communication skills.
  
You will be:

Managing weekly payroll processing ensuring central and regional deadlines are met and completing month end reporting/RTI reporting to HMRC and year end processes
Completing third party enquiries and dealing with employee queries
Processing EYU’s and SSP, SPP, SMP payments, calculating overpayments, checking exception reports, and amending errors
Using auto enrolment processes and manual payments where required
Amending tax codes, bank details and pay rates and ensuring legislative compliance
