Multi-Skilled Calibration Engineer
£47,700 per annum
We are looking for a Multi Skilled Calibration Engineer to work for a manufacturing company based in Borehamwood.
The company has over 60 years of experience in their specialist industry supplying high-quality products to customers globally.
As the Multi-Skilled Calibration Engineer you will be responsible for carrying out fault finding/repair and calibration on a wide range of equipment, including routine preventive and breakdown maintenance. In addition, you will be required to develop and commission new and existing instrumentation and control systems.
Multi – Skilled Calibration Engineer Job Role:
* Routine calibration of utility, process and laboratory instrumentation.
* Experience of calibrating various equipment, including pressure, temperature, flow, pH, UV, conductivity, level and weight sensors.
* Knowledge of replacing, repairing and setup various instrumentation.
* Collate and review calibration data, looking for adverse trends and highlighting failures.
* Support the installation, commissioning, and development of complex pharmaceutical equipment
* Maintain documentary records relevant to all aspects of the job, both electronic and manual systems.
* Drive continuous improvement to all engineering processes and procedures through knowledge, innovation, and teamwork.
* Provide a calibration service which is in accordance with company procedures and all manufacturing operations.
* Assist with Installation, Operational, and Process Qualification processes for new and existing equipment.
* Carry out autonomous maintenance activities as required.
Multi – Skilled Calibration Engineer Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday only, 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, rotating weekly
Multi – Skilled Calibration Engineer Skills Required:
* Experience of taking lead within a team
* Ability to perform Engineering Calibration and Maintenance activities to a high standard
* Ability to perform Engineering Calibration and Maintenance activities to a high standard
* Full indentured apprenticeship with experience and additional study
* 17th/18th Edition certification
* Experience within the following industries: Manufacturing Pharmaceutical/Food/Brewery/Dairy/petrochemical
