Are you a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer with commercial maintenance
experience? Are you looking for a company to offer up skilling and training?

They are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer who has experience working
within commercial environments carrying out all areas of Electrical
maintenance. This is mainly a Monday to Friday
role. This will be focused on various
commercial sites, the role will be covering Yeovil and the surrounding

Package includes:L

Salary £38k - 38,500k
schedule Monday to Friday
Call out ¼, (fee is part of salary)
25 + 8 days holidays
Requirements / Qualifications:

Qualification in either of these are preferred but not essential and clients will look at someone who has time served experience.

NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation
CIty and guilds level 3 ( 2330 or 2365) + AM2
City and Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2
18th edition - must have Day to Day Duties:

Lighting - lamp changes, ballast changes, simmtronic/Phillips lighting
Emergency light testing
Power distribution - Checking the boards (RCDs and connections etc)
Electrical fault-finding
Small works - new sockets, new lights, new circuits
PAT Testing
Control Panel maintenance
Star Delta Starters
HV - switching, Shutdowns, Schedules, switchgear
LV - switching, Shutdowns, Schedules, switchgear
UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) - visual checks, readings, battery changes
