Our client, a distinguished entity in the water and utilities sector, is seeking an experienced MEICA Project Engineer to spearhead projects in their offices in Burnley. This role involves leading the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (MEICA) and minor civil engineering projects, ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading the execution and delivery of MEICA based projects within set frameworks.
Collaborating with a team of professionals to manage projects from inception through to completion.
Conducting health and safety audits and prioritising risk management with appropriate mitigation measures.
Ensuring all projects align with industry and client-specific standards.
Driving successful project outcomes, being accountable for decision-making processes.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience in MEICA project delivery within the water sector.
Qualifications such as ONC in electrical or mechanical engineering.
A certifications in SMSTS, EUSR Water Hygiene and EUSR Water Passport, and Medium Risk Confined Space.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing teams.
Excellent communication and strategic planning abilities.
