Are you an experienced Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger Assistant looking for a new challenge?

Are you process driven and love to problem solve?

We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a well-established client within Peterborough.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm (can be flexible) No weekend, No bank holidays

Salary up to £26,000 depending on experience



25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays

Flexible working on Fridays (2PM finish)Duties:

High volume of matching, checking and coding of purchase invoices
Processing of staff expense claims
Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
Reconciliation of supplier statements
Ensure compliance with all legal, taxation and accounting standards
Scheduling BACS payments to suppliers
Point of contact for all purchase ledger enquiries
Maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers and staff in other departments
Support the wider Finance Team in any ad hoc tasks as required
