We are recruiting for a leading Specialist Through School located in Wolverhampton, dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to a diverse group of pupils with complex learning needs. The school is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that meets the needs of students with a range of challenges, including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored support to pupils, ensuring they receive the best possible educational experience. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs and is looking for an opportunity to grow within a supportive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support to pupils with SEMH and other complex learning needs.
Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Support teachers in delivering tailored lessons and activities.
Monitor and record pupils progress and report findings to the SENCO and teaching staff.
Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
Collaborate with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to each pupil's education and well-being.Requirements:

Experience working with children with SEMH and other complex learning needs.
A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or a related field is desirable.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the pupils and the school.What We Offer:
