We are seeking an experienced candidate for this role as a Regional Sales Manager for an outstanding company in the Water industry. The Company has an excellent reputation in the industry; its products and solutions use the latest technologies and innovation to facilitate efficient management of the UK’s waste-water and clean water networks.

Regional Sales Manager – Benefits Package

* A starting salary of between £55,000 and £60,000 pa related to skills and experience

Regional Sales Manager - Role overview

* Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers

* Managing and interpreting customer requirements

* Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs

* Calculating client quotations

* Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions

* Offering after-sales support services including technical support

* Administering client accounts

* Analysing costs and sales

* Meeting regular sales targets

* Recording and maintaining client contact data

* Co-ordinating sales projects

* Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events

* Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product/service will meet client needs

Regional Sales Manager – Candidate requirements

* Proven experience in the clean or waste-water sector is preferred

* Candidates who currently work for a Water company will be seriously considered

* Candidates with no sales experience but have a strong technical/mechanical/project management water industry background will also be seriously considered and any necessary training would be given

* You should be willing to travel regularly spending on average 2 nights per week away from home

* A relevant qualification is preferred e.g. HND or Degree in a related discipline

* Sound technical knowledge

* You must be adaptable due to the reactive nature of the business.

* Sound judgement and good business sense

* The ability to build relationships with clients quickly

* You will have excellent customer facing skills and be happy in a role that will require travel to client sites as and when required.

* A full UK driving licence
