Job Title: Graduate Quantity Surveyor

Location: London

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 (plus travel expenses)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join a growing and well known specialist Main Contractor. You would join their dynamic commercial team working on an exciting, high-profile project in the heart of London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual looking to kick-start their career in the construction industry, working alongside experienced professionals on a prestigious £70m Grade 2 listed high-end residential project.

Key Responsibilities:

The Graduate Quantity Surveyor would be supporting the commercial team, including the Commercial Lead, Senior Quantity Surveyor, and Project Quantity Surveyor

Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports

Helping to monitor and manage project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets

Reviewing tender documents and contract administration

Supporting with procurement processes and subcontractor management

Assisting with project cost forecasting and cost control throughout the project lifecycle

Learning and developing skills in contract law, risk management, and project delivery

Ideal Candidate:

A recent graduate with a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field

A genuine enthusiasm for the construction industry and a keen interest in high-end residential projects

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Proactive, with the ability to learn quickly and contribute to the project team

High attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
