Our clients are market leaders in Control Panel design and production of bespoke control panels for a multitude of different sectors. Due to the continued growth they are looking for skilled people to join their busy manufacturing site on the outskirts of Wakefield. Initially this will be a temporary requirement for 8 – 12 weeks but depending on the level of skill and the workload could result in a long term / permanent placement with the company.

Job Responsibilities:

* Reading and following schematic and technical drawings to accurately wire bespoke control panels.

* Assembling different control panels using a variety of bespoke components.

* Testing and inspection of the finished products to ensure everything is correct and working properly prior to dispatch.

* Working with the engineering team to report any inaccuracies or technical problems that may arise throughout the assembly.

Job Requirements:

* Past experience as a panel wirer or similar role.

* Ideally have and NVQ or Equivalent in an Engineering or Electrical qualification.

* Must be capable of following a schematic drawing.

* Ideally have your own transport.

Hours:

8am – 4pm (Monday – Thursday)

8am – 3pm (Friday)

Overtime is available and is paid at 1.3 during the week and 1.5 on a weekend.
