Transport Night Operator

Our client, a prominent local haulage company, is dedicated to providing outstanding logistics solutions. Role Overview:

* Shift Management: Coordinate and manage driver schedules to ensure optimal coverage throughout the night.
* Absence Management: Proactively address driver sickness and absences, reallocating tasks to maintain seamless service delivery.
* Emergency Response: Effectively respond to breakdowns and emergencies, providing timely solutions to minimize disruptions.
* Driver Communication: Maintain daily communication with drivers to resolve any issues, fostering a supportive and responsive work environment.

Are You the Right Fit?

We are seeking candidates who possess:
* Experience in the logistics or haulage industry (preferred).
* At least 2 years in a similar role, particularly in traffic management or operations.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
* Proficiency in IT, including transport management systems.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with drivers and team members.

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary for this position is competitive, with a package of up to £30,000 based on experience. Our client also offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for career advancement.

Working Hours
21.00pm to 06.00am
Either Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday
