Premises Assistant - Full Time (8am to 3pm)
Location: Greenwich
Are you a reliable and dedicated individual working within Education and Training with a keen eye for detail? Do you have experience working in a facilities or maintenance role? Join a friendly and supportive school community as a Premises Assistant!
Position: Premises Assistant - Greenwich based School
Hours: Full-time, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: January 2025
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of school buildings and grounds.
Carry out general repairs and maintenance tasks.
Set up and take down furniture for events and activities.
Assist with opening and closing the school premises.
Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Support with deliveries, health and safety checks, and other ad-hoc tasks.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Practical experience in facilities management or maintenance is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a professional manner.
Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.

Provide us with 2 references covering at least a 6 month period and preferably working in a school based environment or one with children.
We will need a Child Only DBS on the update service - most in Education and Training now will need Child Only
