Quantity Surveyor – Bridgwater

Avocet Recruitment is working alongside an award winning, quality focussed, non PLC housing developer that require a Quantity Surveyor to work on their live and upcoming projects spanning from Bristol down to Exeter.

Suitable candidates will ideally come from a strong residential background, however, other construction sectors will be considered.

Responsibilities will include…..

* Assist in the preparation of package commercial plans and targets

* Manage monthly project cash and turnover forecasts for all packages whilst preparing and monitoring risk

* Assist the procurement team in producing package procurement documents

* Assist in commercial and contractual discussions with relevant supply chain members

* Final Accounts Preparation

Qualifications and Skills:

* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field is preferred

* Must have a proven background in quantity surveying roles within the construction industry

* Strong understanding of contract administration, procurement, and change management processes.
