Job Description:

We are seeking a professional and reliable Class 1 HGV Driver for trunking operations in the Bolton area. The role involves transporting goods between depots, hubs, or distribution centres, with no handballing required. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy structured driving routes and value punctuality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle for trunking runs between specified locations, ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Adhere to all UK driving laws, Working Time Regulations (WTR), and company policies.
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy and report any issues promptly.
Accurately complete paperwork and logbooks, ensuring all transport records are updated.
Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with depot staff and team members.
Liaise with transport planners and managers to report delays, issues, or incidents.

Requirements:

Licensing:
Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV license.
Driver CPC:
Up-to-date Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
Tachograph Card:
Valid digital tachograph card.

Working Hours:

Flexible shifts available, including:

Days
Nights
Weekends
