The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating all on-site activities, maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency, and leading a team of subcontractors and site operatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management: Oversee the construction process from start to finish, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of subcontractors, site operatives, and other construction professionals, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across the team.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all site operations comply with health and safety regulations and safety protocols.
* Quality Control: Monitor the quality of all work on site, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
* Problem-Solving: Identify potential issues or delays and take proactive measures to resolve them swiftly and efficiently.
* Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on the project’s progress and addressing any concerns.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, health and safety checks, and progress reports.
About You:
We are looking for a Site Manager who has:
* Experience: A proven track record of managing construction sites in the residential sector.
* Qualifications: A relevant degree or certification in construction management, or equivalent experience. SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification is essential.
* Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities, with experience managing and motivating a team to deliver high-quality results.
* Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and quality control standards.
* Communication: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and the wider project team.
* Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to addressing challenges and finding practical solutions
