We are seeking an experienced and driven Wet FFA Broker to join the London office of a globally respected shipping company. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in Wet FFA Broking, strong relationship-building skills, and the ambition to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic market.
Key Responsibilities
As a Wet FFA Broker, you will:
* Manage day-to-day operations, including spot broking, COA (Contracts of Affreightment), and period time-charter activities.
* Identify new business opportunities by analyzing market trends, future demands, and client needs.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, and colleagues across global offices.
* Operate across various areas of the dry cargo market.
* Drive revenue growth by expanding and developing the customer base, both within London and internationally.
* Handle shipping documentation efficiently and accurately.
* Conduct market analysis, offering clients insights and trade ideas to support their decision-making.
* Provide clients with regular market updates and insights to maintain a competitive edge.
* Perform ad hoc duties as needed to support business operations.
