Job Title: Audio Visual Installation Engineer
Location: Wellingborough, UK (with UK-wide travel)
Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 (dependent on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Audio Visual Installation Engineer with hands-on experience in AV system installation and maintenance. This role involves leading installations across various sites in the UK, ensuring high standards are met, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of AV projects.

* Ensure project completion within specified timelines and quality standards.

* Complete system commissioning tests, client sign-offs, and documentation.

* Provide technical support, including remote assistance and on-site troubleshooting.

* Manage stock, tools, and inventory for installations.

* Oversee and mentor junior engineers.

* Maintain customer satisfaction through high-quality service and support.

* Stay updated with the latest AV technologies and trends.

* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and complete site-specific risk assessments.

Required Skills & Experience:

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in AV installation, including cable termination and fault-finding.

* Ability to read technical drawings, cable schedules, and rack elevations.

* Strong knowledge of AV signal processing, routing, and control.

* Experience using hand and power tools.

* Familiarity with control software (e.g., DANTE).

* Valid driver’s license and ability to work at height.

* Fluent in English.

Desirable Skills:

* Relevant technical qualifications (A-Level, BTEC, or degree).

* AVIXA CTS qualification or other certifications.

* Experience working in places of worship or historic buildings.

* Networking knowledge and electrical qualifications.

* PASMA certification.
