We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring continuity of education during teacher absences.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and manage students during teacher absences, ensuring a productive learning environment.

* Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a variety of subjects and year groups.

* Maintain classroom discipline and uphold the school’s behavior policies.

* Provide support to students in understanding and completing assigned tasks.

* Manage classroom resources and ensure the learning space is left tidy and organized.

* Report any issues, concerns, or achievements to relevant staff members.

* Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as directed by school leadership.

Requirements:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Strong classroom management abilities.

* Flexibility and adaptability to cover various subjects and year groups.

* Ability to work independently and take initiative.

* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

* Previous experience in a school environment or similar role is preferred.

* A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.

* Knowledge of educational practices and classroom procedures.
