Our client, a leading social housing provider, is seeking an exceptional Reactive/Repairs Site Manager to join their dynamic team. This critical role will involve overseeing a team of operatives to ensure the timely and effective delivery of responsive repairs and maintenance services to tenants across a designated area.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate a team of operatives, including tradespeople such as plumbers, electricians, and joiners.
Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and ensure timely resolution.
Plan and schedule work effectively to maximise efficiency and minimise disruption to tenants.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure work is completed to the highest standards.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including conducting toolbox talks and ensuring safe work practices.
Utilise relevant software systems (e.g., IMPACT, ServiceNow) to track work orders, monitor progress, and generate reports.
Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Proactively identify and resolve any potential issues that may arise.
Essential Criteria:
Proven experience as a Site Manager within the social housing sector, with a strong focus on reactive maintenance.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong 1 understanding of building regulations and relevant health and safety legislation.

Valid SMSTS, SSSTS, and First Aid certificates.
Hold relevant construction qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Construction Site Supervision).
Valid CSCS card.
Experience using relevant software systems for work order management.
Desirable Criteria:
Experience in managing a diverse team of operatives.
Knowledge of building regulations relating to accessibility.
Experience in implementing and improving operational processes.
