Job Title: Yardman and Class 2 Driver

Pertemps is excited to partner with a well-established builders merchants in Hemel Hempstead, offering an excellent opportunity for a skilled Yardman and Class 2 Driver.

What’s the Job?

This role combines a variety of responsibilities, including shunting, multi-drop driving, and general yard duties as required. It involves outdoor work, so you'll need to be comfortable working in different weather conditions and handling physical tasks.

Key Details:

Hourly Pay: £16 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am - 16:30pm, with occasional Saturday shifts from 7am - 1pm if needed.

Experience: Previous experience in a builders merchants is essential for this role. A forklift truck licence would be an advantage, but it's not mandatory.

Driver’s Licence: Ideally, candidates should have a clean licence with no points.
