Permit Manager (Mechanical or Electrical Background)

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum
Site: Single-site role

We are seeking a Permit Manager, for a key client, with a mechanical or electrical background to join a leading facilities management team in Wandsworth. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who excels in managing permit-to-work systems, compliance, and safety procedures within a building services or industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee and manage the Permit to Work system, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations

* Liaise with contractors, engineers, and site teams to coordinate work permits effectively

* Ensure all mechanical and electrical activities are carried out safely and efficiently

* Conduct audits and inspections to maintain high safety and compliance standards

* Work closely with the engineering and facilities management teams to support site operations

Requirements:

* Mechanical or Electrical qualifications (HNC, HND, NVQ, or equivalent)

* Experience in permit-to-work systems within a building services, construction, or industrial environment

* Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance

* Excellent communication and organizational skills
