We are seeking a highly capable Maintenance Engineer for a weekend role. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of machinery and equipment within our FMCG environment.

Description

Undertaking routine maintenance and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment.
Overseeing the installation of new machinery and equipment.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.
Identifying potential improvements to increase efficiency.
Collaborating with the wider Engineering & Manufacturing team.
Documenting all maintenance and repair work.
Assisting with training of junior staff members.
Responding promptly to any machinery breakdowns.Profile

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

A strong background in Engineering & Manufacturing.
Proven experience in a similar FMCG role.
An excellent understanding of health and safety regulations.
Demonstrable ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
