Consultant Electrical Engineer

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a broad knowledge and experience of HV/LV networks?

•£55,000 to £60,000 basic salary

What you'll be doing:
As a consultant, you'll deliver projects that enable our clients to develop, operate, and manage the assets which form their electrical infrastructure.
•You'll build network models and perform load flow, fault level, protection, earthing and transient stability studies.
•You'll undertake detailed analysis to support customers with their network management to ensure their networks are reliable, safe and efficient.
•You'll agree the scope of an assignment and produce costed quotations/proposals
•You'll take ownership for delivery of said quotations/proposals
•You'll gather project information through frequent teleconferences and face to face client meetings
•You'll attend and present at project partner meetings

What you'll need:
•An in-depth understanding of high voltage networks and their associated assets, operational safety systems, network policies and practices
•Exceptional report writing skills
•Experience in maintenance and condition monitoring practices
•Electrical failure modes and incident investigation would be an advantage but not essential
•Risk Management experience
•Working knowledge of Asset Management practices and systems
•Electrical safety regulations and procedures knowledge
