About the role

This role includes the following:

A range of vacancies available which cover maternity contracts, year-long contracts, and temporary-to-permanent positions, as well as flexibility in sickness and training day covers.
Dedicated consultant with experience working with schools in Coventry exploring work and career opportunities in schools in your area.
Working for ABC Teachers will give you scope to work on a full time or part time basis, as well as having the option to work on a day to day basis, or in short term and long term positions depending on what suits your circumstances and joining our ECT Pool will give you exclusive access to a variety of ECT roles in your local area.

In the meantime, whilst you are still studying and waiting for your QTS to be awarded, we can offer you work as a Teaching Assistant which will allow you to experience different schools in your local area so you can find a school that is right for you ready for September 2025.

Working in a number of schools in Coventry with long existing relationships with ABC Teachers building strong rapports giving you an edge over competition if permanent roles become available.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of ECTs Wanted - Coventry - you will:

Have a drive to build experiences and confidence in ability while working in roles.
Have presented lessons to pupils of a primary age either on placements or in working settings previously.
No previous experience in supply needed.
Need a relevant QTS, working in a primary school environment, this is a compulsory part of registration.
Be able to gain relevant references from most recent school and university.
Have or be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
