Mechanical Project Manager – Small Works (£10k to £250k Projects)

We’re working with a long-established and highly respected Mechanical & Electrical Building Services contractor based in the City of London, who are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their Small Works Division.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading M&E contractor delivering projects across diverse sectors including commercial, banking, office fit-out, education, healthcare, retail, and leisure, with values ranging from £10k to £5m.

Role Overview:

As Mechanical Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing mechanical small works projects typically ranging from £10k to £250k. Reporting to the Mechanical Director, your focus will be on planning, delivery, client liaison, contractor coordination, and ensuring safety, quality, and budget compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage mechanical small works projects from inception to completion

* Coordinate with engineers, sub-contractors, suppliers, and clients

* Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets

* Carry out regular site visits, ensuring H&S compliance

* Handle procurement of materials and equipment

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation

Mechanical Project Manager - Desirable experience, skills and qualifications:

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, Contracts Manager, or MEP Project Manager, or similar role

* Able to manage multiple small projects concurrently, up to £250k

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* CSCS and SMSTS certifications preferred
