The Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Façade / Cladding Designer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team of envelope specialists. This is a key role, offering the chance to lead bespoke façade design projects from concept through to site installation. You will be part of a collaborative environment, delivering industry-leading solutions in stonework, façades, cladding, and architectural envelope systems.
 
This position is ideal for a technically minded designer with a strong command of AutoCAD and a practical understanding of the full design-to-installation process.
 
Key Responsibilities

Lead early-stage design development for bespoke façade and cladding systems
Translate architectural concepts into workable technical proposals
Liaise with Architects, Consultants, Contractors, and internal design teams
Support the sales team with technical information and drawings
Produce sketches, approval drawings, construction drawings, fabrication details, and site layout plans
Compile full technical submittals for project approval
Prepare connection diagrams and coordinate detailing
Review technical calculations and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards
Refine existing design solutions to improve performance and buildability
Monitor quality throughout project execution and report any variations
Support the wider team with technical input as required Key Requirements

Proficiency in AutoCAD and technical drawing production
Experience in stonework, cladding, curtain walling, or façade design
Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle from concept through to on-site installation
Excellent communication and coordination skills with both technical and site teams
Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
