Pay Rate: £30.00 per hour

Working Hours: 07:00 – 19:00, 6/7 days per week

The Role

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Fit Out Site Manager to oversee a commercial fit-out project based in Glasgow (G53). This is a hands-on, site-based position managing daily operations, subcontractors, and ensuring the works are delivered to a high standard, safely and on time.

The role offers long working hours and up to 7 days per week on a 13-week programme, making it ideal for someone looking for consistent site-based work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site operations and workforce coordination

*

Supervise subcontractors and trades to ensure smooth workflow

*

Ensure work is carried out in line with project drawings, specifications, and programme

*

Oversee health & safety procedures, including inductions and toolbox talks

*

Conduct site inspections and maintain quality assurance standards

*

Communicate effectively with the client, consultants, and internal team

*

Address and resolve site-based issues promptly to avoid delays

Requirements

*

SMSTS or SSSTS certification (essential)

*

Previous experience managing fit-out projects (commercial/retail preferred)

*

Strong leadership and site management capabilities

*

Solid understanding of health & safety compliance and site logistics

*

Good communication and problem-solving skills

*

Ability to work extended hours and weekends as required

*

Based within commuting distance of Glasgow
