Job Title: MOT Tester
Location: Derby
Salary: Up to £37,000
Working Hours: 5 days a week – No Sundays

Perform MOT testing and vehicle diagnostics in compliance with current regulations for every MOT Tester
Conduct routine vehicle servicing and repairs to high standards as an experienced MOT Tester
Work on a range of vehicles, including hybrid and electric models (training provided if not already qualified for MOT Testers)
Assist with light vehicle maintenance when not performing MOTs as a skilled MOT Tester
Collaborate effectively with the workshop team to maintain high standards for every MOT TesterRequirements:
MOT Testing Licence: Current and valid for a qualified MOT Tester
Qualifications: IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, City & Guilds Level 3, or equivalent for a certified MOT Tester
Experience: Proven experience in a car dealership, independent garage, car supermarket, or service centre for a dedicated MOT Tester
MOT Tester Course: Completed class 4, 5, or 7 for an experienced MOT Tester
Vehicle Experience: Hands-on experience with cars and light commercial vehicles for a qualified MOT Tester
Training: Ideally hybrid/EV trained (training will be provided if not) for every MOT Tester
Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence with fewer than 9 points for a reliable MOT Tester
