Location: Burnley, Lancashire
Contract: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday) and 1 in 4 Saturdays
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications

Our client is seeking an ambitious, service-driven Branch Manager to run their community pharmacy in Burnley. Reporting to Head Office, you will take full responsibility for day-to-day operations, staff leadership and the growth of our NHS and private clinical services.

Key duties

* Team leadership – recruit, train, rota and motivate a multidisciplinary team of (dispensary, counter and delivery staff); conduct performance reviews and ensure a positive, patient-centred culture.

* Service expansion – work with the pharmacist to promote and hit targets for Pharmacy First, NMS, flu & COVID vaccinations, hypertension checks and private services such as travel health and weight-management.

* Operational control – manage workflow, stock, cash, CD records and SOP compliance; maintain excellent audit, H&S and GPhC standards.

* Customer engagement – deliver first-class face-to-face service; build links with local GP surgeries and community groups to drive footfall and service uptake.

About you

* Supervisory or management experience in community pharmacy, healthcare retail or a similar customer-facing environment.

* Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.

* Proven ability to hit targets and grow services.

* Confident with basic finance, rota planning and IT/PMR systems (training provided where necessary).

* A genuine passion for community healthcare and patient care
