Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias

Monday to Friday role
Excellent opportunity for a highly skilled Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer to work within a volume-manufacturing environment. The role will suit a confident individual with an excellent attitude to work who is looking for an opportunity to work for a great employer who will offer on-going training and progression.
You role as an Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will include:
Maintenance, diagnostics and repair of mechanical and electrical production machinery including water jet cutters and presses
Performing both planned and preventative maintenance tasks
Undertaking machine modifications and other continuous improvements projects
Fault-finding on PLC's
Working with hydraulic, pneumatic and robotic equipment
To attend breakdowns, assess problems using root cause analysis & recognised problem solving techniques.
Ensuring compliance to relevant safety and environmental regulations
As an Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will:
Be an apprentice trained multi skilled engineer with a mechanical bias
Be keen to learn with an excellent attitude to work
Be familiar with the installation of 3 phase supply and distribution
Have experience fault finding and repair of a range of both mechanical and electrical equipment
Ideally have experience of power presses
Have worked with hydraulics and pneumatics
Possess fault-finding experience of PLC
Have a logical approach to fault-finding and possess excellent diagnostic skills
Any expose to continuous improvements projects would be an advantage
Rotating shifts Mon to Fri - (Apply online only), (Apply online only) & (Apply online only). There will be an expectation for some weekend work paid at overtime rate time plus one third.
25 days per year holiday + Bank
