Michael Page are continuing a successful relationship with this growing, privately held business recruiting a Senior Design Engineer for their Leeds based operation. The well known engineering business witnessed further growth last year and are therefore looking to bolster their engineering teams to take advantage of an increasing market share.

Description

As a key member of the Leeds design function you will work closely with operations and commercial teams to ensure the business consistently delivers best in class product development and manufacture.

Day to day responsibility for the Senior Design Engineer will include:

Design new product in accordance with customer requirement
Developing existing product to ensure the organisation has an agile portfolio
Creating and amending BOM's
Mentoring apprentices
Supporting commercial and project teams with technical liaison Profile

The successful Senior Design Engineer will posses a range of the following:

An in-depth working knowledge of AutoCAD and Solid Works
Experience in designing products utilised in power generation
A strong mechanical qualification with basic electrical knowledge
Relevant, project based design experience
The ability to lead and mentorJob Offer
