Project Manager - Controls & Automation

Basic rate: £30.00 to £32.50 per hour + On-going contract (12 months+)

The role is the Principal Engineer responsible for Controls and Automation, equipment selection and specification, installation management & supervision and commissioning, covering all aspects from the control system, architecture design, control panel distribution and cabling strategy, software design strategy through to installation standards and commissioning, project management and supervision of turnkey projects within an industrial / manufacturing environment.

You must be capable of all elements of a project (cradle to grave) from design, have manufacturing experience and able to demonstrate hands on experience gained from physically installing, supervising and commissioning of various projects within your discipline.

You may have a team of 7 direct reports and be responsible for around 60 trades and labour skills at peak. The project values could range from £50k to £1m
